Collection: THE WRAITH

In the 1986 action-fantasy film "The Wraith," the main character, Jamie Hankins (played by Charlie Sheen), drives a distinctive and futuristic car. The car is an essential element of the movie and is known as the "Turbo Interceptor."

Key details about the Turbo Interceptor in "The Wraith" include:

  1. Dodge M4S Concept Car: The Turbo Interceptor is based on the Dodge M4S, a real concept car developed by Dodge in the mid-1980s. The M4S was an experimental vehicle designed to showcase Dodge's engineering capabilities.

  2. Futuristic Design: The Turbo Interceptor in the film has a sleek and futuristic design with a distinctive and aerodynamic body. It is painted black and features red accents, giving it a menacing appearance.

  3. High-Performance Vehicle: The car in the film is depicted as an exceptionally fast and high-performance vehicle. It is used by the film's antagonist, Packard Walsh (played by Nick Cassavetes), and his gang of drag racers to terrorize a small desert town.

  4. Supernatural Element: The Turbo Interceptor plays a central role in the movie's plot, as it is associated with a supernatural element and serves as a symbol of revenge and justice.

"The Wraith" is a cult classic in the realm of 1980s action films, and the Turbo Interceptor is one of its most memorable elements. The car is central to the film's high-speed racing sequences and adds to the movie's overall style and mystique.

The Wraith Turbo Interceptor has never been made in Toy or Diecast form. That's really a shame as its a cult film now with a huge following! We here at DiecastMovieCars.com have made Custom Versions in the past based on a Jaguar frame/body and adding 3d printed layers and proper paint. We of course do hope one of the big guys decides to make them in volume.
